over 700 full lengths, eps and compilations of emo in all it's variability. everything from late 90's german stuff. midwest classics, hardcore southeastern, westcoast more poppy stuff and a boat fuck of obscure single 7"s.
there is more than mineral and cap'n jazz!!!
if you have specific sounds you like and want mixes, i'll be more than happy!

i figured just to make a thread for this stuff, because the 20 bands i posted in "emo from 2000-now" thread turned into a my chemical romance / taking back sunday appreciation thread.

I'm looking for more Emo similar to Mineral. Also anything upbeat in the vein of The first two promise ring albums
i honestly listened the a mineral LP for a few tracks and got rid of it. i couldn't get into it.
i have a copy of the february 7" laying around that i don't want if you wanna make an offer on that. in good condition.
upbeat emo stuff, most of the stuff from 97+ in westcoast and some michigan/chicago area. it's a little on the indie-rock / pop-punk side but check out:
100 words for snow (really poppy, corny lyrics but nice groovy, driving stuff) passenger train proposal (a lot of build ups into some nice fast paced pop-punk riffs, get their 7", it rules.) luck of aleia (had a six song 10" on crank! that is really really good indie-rock emo. one of my personal favorites) the snacks (they only did a split with the emo band tipping canoe who were a little more on the harsh side of emo. but they are male/female vocals with super catchy stuff, short tracks but really good.) stratego (i think if these guys came out ten years later they would've been huge, think jazz june if they were on no idea)
that and get the compilations : ground rule double 2xLP on divot records, polyvinyl's direction LP+7" and cranks! don't forget to breath LP+10". and "ooh do i love you" 2xCD (benefit for sexual violence) it is probably the best summary of mid 90's midwest sound. that's probably up your ally.

I just wanna say: FUCKING THANK YOU. I found account months ago and I love it. If I want to find an album that's one of the first places I go.

Everyone listen to Agna Moraine's Autobiography. Grab it all, I guarantee you won't be disappointed, unless the vocals get on your nerves, and if they do, you should just listen to something boring instead.
Re: late pass, but here's a good directory for you guys.
in your Screamo is Dead account you have the same Stop It!! demo posted twice, once as 7 song demo and once as This Is What It Sounds Like When Doves Cry, which was just a different name for that release.

Is the Harriet the Spy - God Gave Us... 10" the greatest 10" of all time? I'm pretty sure it is.

I haven't updated my list in years, but I would really like to overhaul it.
Speaking of Moonraker, I've got an extra copy of the 10" if anyone would want to buy/trade for it.
