I got to see them recently on my birthday with The Dear Hunter and Porcupine Tree though and that was fucking awesome. Besides that, I saw them warped tour of 08 I think... and this april with Circa and Torche too. Torche played horribly though, big bummer. Have you seen Coheed before?

I was a massive fan back in '07...Guess I just found new/more bands. Still like them massively, mind, and I'm looking forward to them both almost equally; Deftones just a bit more.

Torche is kind of a bummer live since Juan left or was kicked out/whatever happened there. I was on tour with them in 2008 and they ruled so hard. Them as a 3 piece is weird.

Re: WillJMW i don't remember if they were a 3 or 4 piece when i saw them in june (it was after their gear got stolen on that coheed tour) in this tiny ass bar in vermont to about 30 people and it was amazing. despite having their shit stolen and having spent god knows how much to buy all new stuff (they had literally been to guitar center that afternoon and were opening all of the boxes in the back of the bar before they played) they were still the happiest band ive ever seen. they never stopped smiling and it was awesome.

Re: WillJMW Coheed actually played a mix of stuff; Delirium Trigger was gooooood.
Deftones were insane; sadly, I mentally missed Knife Party which is one of my favourites, after realising I'd lost my phone (Nokia 5800 - kinda expensive(later found out Brixton Academy is notorious for pickpocketing...I'm still saying 'lost'.)) but the gig definitely wasn't a downer from that point.
When and if they get Chi back, they're gonna be so incredible live...I can only imagine them in stadiums.
